About Us
 Hopscotch Consulting, LLC is owned and operated by
Allison Ellis. She has over 20 years editorial and multimedia marketing experience in the children's media, publishing,
retail, consumer products and broadcast industries. She is the founding editor of the award-winning FreeZone Network,
the first safe online community for kids and the former VP and Editorial Director of Fox Kids and Fox Family Channel
online properties, (now owned by ABC/Disney).
She has developed a wide variety of interactive educational and edutainment content for a number of children's properties and programs, including Scholastic, Discovery Kids,
Microsoft, Nordstrom as well as several startup children's media businesses. Allison is a member of the Society of
Children's Writers & Illustrators and a longtime volunteer and program planner for the American Cancer Society's
Camp Goodtimes, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings based in Washington State.
